What to Expect

Your driver will come to your Jakarta hotel at 6:00 AM to take you to the west coast's Carita beach. Upon arrival, you will join a boat for a 1.5-hour voyage to the Krakatoa volcano after breakfast. You will begin ascending Krakatoa's kid peak as soon as you arrive, which typically takes an hour or so. Beautiful views of the ocean, verdant flora, and red volcanic rocks may be seen in the surroundings. The next stop is Rakata Island, which is about 20 minutes away by boat and is well-known for its Legon Cabe coral reefs. Snorkeling is enjoyable here, and the top of Anak Krakatoa may be seen in the distance. On Rakata Island, lunch will be provided on the beach. The excursion will eventually come to an end as you cruise back to Carita, arriving at around 4:30 PM, and return to Jakarta.
